Acts of vandalism

Vandalism

Vandalism is any addition, deletion, or change to content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of the wiki. It is inappropriate behavior.

On this 4 articles you have done nothing except act of vandalism:

And on your fifth article, a lot of little edits and sarcasm can be found: " Please explain yourself! --AndyCro Icon-Croatia.png Click here to talk with me baby! ;) 14:23, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

You have been banned for one day. Please use this time to read the policies of the wiki Category:Policies. Thank you. --QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 15:29, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

I think you're making a wrong decision. I authorized Julio to make some changes in my article and in my opinion his changes are funny. - Divus Bean

I gotta say that this decision was totally unfair. I know Julio de Matos pretty well and he knows I authorize him to edit my wiki page (that's awfully outdated, but oh well) with those comments "for the lulz". His articles in Portugal possess an original and amazingly good humor, but at the same time he criticizes / describes / informs important stuff with them. I think that these type of edits should only be penalized if someone actually feels insulted, which is not the case, as far as I know. I find his comments an excellent and funny add to my wiki page, tbh. -- Arthk

You are entitled to your opinion on this matter, but you need to understand how the edits are seen by those of us that patrol the wiki. AndyCro and I saw one user inserting jokes and snarky comments into a series of pages. Several other authors have tried the same thing before and were banned for vandalism as it breaks the eRepublik Official Wiki:Fictional content policy and/or the eRepublik Official Wiki:Behavior policy. It was agreed that what was written breached these policies. Even if you are friends and even if it was a joke, in this type of forum there is absolutely no way of knowing that. Some of this could have been avoided if the policies were followed. I was actually rather lenient, most vandals receive permanent bans.--QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 00:20, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Citizen Pages

Hi. Please read the eRepublik Official Wiki:Bar#NEW_WIKI_ORDER.21. Pages should not be started from the wiki link in the game so that they start with "Citizen" or "Newspaper" or "Company", etc. Thanks! --QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 20:45, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
