Uttar Pradesh is a region of India. In April 2008, it became part of Pakistan as a result of the Pakistan-India War. Then after the Pakistan-Iran War, it became a part of Iran (January 2009). On December 13, 2009, it was reconquered by India due to the India-Iran war. It's capital is Lucknow.
