Valnad was first born day 110, in march 2008, but the game was buggy and he never managed to get his activation code to work. This caused him to leave the game and not reappear until day 884 of the New World, in the region of Gotaland. Due to having stayed away for so long, he never got the chance to witness Sweden during it's era of superiority. Despite of this he somehow managed to linger on and quickly rose to the inner circle of political power within a matter of months.

Early life
During day 898, after being merely 14 days old, Valnad founded his first organization and first company; Laponia Holdings and the Q1 weapons company, Laponia Systems AB. This was made possible by financial aid from ThomasP87, who is still a good friend (despite having quit the game).
Less than a week later, Valnad also reincarnated Flashback Food and quickly began to search for new laborers. From the start it was decided that the company should yield no personal profit for its new MD, and could therefor promise much higher salaries than its competitors. Within 2 days, the company was up on its feet again and is still active to this very day, though it now operates under a different name; Laponia Food AB.
Economy
Valnad put a lot of effort into building up a cluster of successful companies throughout 2010. At its prime, the Laponia Group amassed as many as 20 companies in various markets and countries. However, admins made several uncalled for changes to the economy module by introducing V2, then backtracking halfways towards V1 and then changing everything again by the removal of weapon types, orgs and the implementation of several new raw materials.
Laponia Holdings was finally put to rest on day 1 135. Valnad acquired a total of 22 companies throughout 2010, out of which 9 still remain within his possession.
Military career
Valnad enlisted to The Swedish Armed Forces after 19 days of age. During this time, however, congressmen and employees weren't allowed to leave the country without resigning from their work. Therefor his early military achievements deserves no further mention.
The Fourth German War
Launching a successful campaign against Germany, with support from both Poland and Italy, Valnad made his first appearance on the international battlefield. When the smoke had cleared, Sweden were once again in possession of Schleswig-Hamburg and Holstein (High grain, one of the most precious regions in the world at the time) and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, plus winning the region of Lower-Saxony and Bremen but giving it ti United Kingdom in order to pave way for Poland to go further into German territory. During these wars, Valnad landed his first Battle-Hero achievement although his part in it was mainly in the tactical department.
This war ended with Germany being wiped from the map, marking the unconditional victory of Sweden and her allies.
The Liberation of Denmark
Due to the events taking place in the Danish congress and president elections during the fall of 2010, Sweden's neighbor suffered from a PTO led by a Croatian paramilitary group of exiled citizens. Valnad held a meeting with HrBjorn, religious and political leader of the real Danes, and it was decided that Sweden should liberate all of Denmark and form a temporary union until the time and setting was right for Denmark to be revided under their true and only leaders.
Within less than a week, Denmark had been entirely taken over by Sweden and in his next article, Valnad proclaimed the union's name as Homonavia (crediting Grev Per for his Homoswede expression during the last time Swedish troopps occupied Danish territory).
In this process, Sweden also acclaimed the world's only known High Beer region (Sjaelland and Hovedstaden) in which battle Valnad went ahead and landed another Battle-hero medal (later engraved by Lurvinator; "In Beer We Trust").
The Fifth German War
After admins decided to remove the High grain in SH-H, Sweden went on a prowl after some new resources. Germany, having managed to reclaim some of the regions they lost a few weeks earlier, was once again the obvious center of attention. Collaborating with Polish president Strozer, Valnad signed a declaration of war and gave the order to move acress the border, into Saxony-Anhalt. The battle was soon over, with Sweden claiming 8 straight victories and not wasting any time. Due to Poland bordering from all sides, and admins new rules of ending wars when there are no borders left, this signaled the end of the war.
The Battle of Norrland and Harjedalen + Trondelag
These two battles were initiated after a Scandinavian summit, where the presidents of Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland made arrangements for a region swap. Gaining support from both congresses, Norway attacked and claimed Norrland and Harjedalen, after which they intentionally lost a battle against the capital state of Svealand.
Trondelag was then easily conquered by the Swedes, but the peace proposal was postponed by the Norwegian congress, which forced Sweden to auto-attack a random Norwegian region. Ironically the random battle was initiated in Norrland and Harjedalen, causing quite much confusion by civilians on both sides.
During this war, Sweden had to send their military to fight against one of its own core regions for the first time ever, marking this as a very special and awkward day in Swedish history books. During the last battle, taking place in the middle of the night, Valnad was the only one fighting for the Norwegian side, amassing a total of >62k influence. Later on the same day, peace was accepted and the war ended according to plan.
The Swedish Empire reborn
After successfully forming the Homovanian union with the Danes, plus occupying the northern parts of Germany, Sweden held as many as 16 regions, making it one of the largest empires in the world at the time, passing much larger populations in size, such as Turkey, Serbia, Brazil, Romania, Spain, France, Hungary... and having just one region less than their old-time friends from Poland.
Political career
Having first joined FRONT, mainly due to his referrer (Lydde) being a member thereof, he quickly realized that he desired something more than just a big party with lots of members. The more he read the more he begun to question his somewhat hasty decision of initial party affiliation. After having been a member for just 2 days, he decided to leave FRONT and instead join the oppositional party Flashback Sweden.
On his 19th day in life, Valnad was assigned the post of Vice Minister of Finance by the newly elected president Meleni, by recommendation from some of the most respected players in Sweden. During this period (May 2010) he would serve his country and run his office under guidance of the former president and highly respected citizen st00r.
The vote for congress, May 26th 2010, ended in great disappointment. As Flashback Sweden decided to give priority to some more wellknown but entirely inactive names on their list of candidates, Valnad saw no other option but to resign from his party and was then offered a seat in Liberala Vikingar, from which he managed to get elected into the congress the following month. A post which he maintained up until he became President (since it's not allowed to be both congressman and president at the same time).
Due to his political activity and ambition, Liberala Vikingar decided to offer him the party presidency during July 2010, despite knowing that he still saw himself as "politically uncommited".
Valnad decided to campaign together with st00r in the presidential elections held at 5th August, 2010. It ended with a landslide victory for st00r (67%), with Valnad securing the second place (17%) and thus their plan of creating political stability in the country once more had been initiated.
With st00r as president and Valnad as Vice President, they decided to form a trio with the infamous player shoot, but due to unforeseen IRL events they never managed to fulfill their plans for the country and much of the work had to be postponed.
Remember, remember the 5th of november...
During the President election held 5th november, 2010, Valnad decided to launch his first serious candidacy. Receiving much support from the community, he won the election with 42%, with Lobbanet II coming in second place with 25.6%.
History was written, as this made him the first candidate to be elected president without campaigning from the largest party in the country. In fact, his party was 5th in size at the time. At the end of his first term, he also became the first Swedish president to succeed in fullfilling all of his three Campaign goals.
The Saga Continues!
The next election ended with Valnad winning once more. Now the support had increased to a staggering 54.3%, despite the fact that 8% more of the population (which btw had increased with almost 20%) cast their votes. This time the runner-up was Johannes Svaerd, finishing with 27.8% of the votes.
Journalism & comic art
Valnad quickly decided that he needed a special way of expressing himself within The New World, but there simply wasn't any room for yet another newspaper. Instead he decided to launch his very own web comic; This Week's Comic, which stayed true to its name up until Per-Ottos betrayal, where he as president of Sweden sold out almost the entire country to Norway. During this crisis, the paper changed it's name and tone to Nattravn News. Nowadays most articles are posted in English and the paper changed name again to Swedish News.
