Early life

Vincent Garibaldi as a young lad

Vincent Garibaldi was born on the 268th day of the New World in California, USA. Joining the Libertarian Party, with the help of then Party president Immunogenic, he was able to obtain less than gainful employment in the food industry, and a spot in the US National Guard.

Only days later, he began publishing his own newspaper, The Drunkard. It has been the subject of very active ignoring by the general population ever since.

Eventually, after leaving the Libertarian Party in the wake of the response to the Martin Sunter fiasco, he joined the smallest party in the USA at that time, with a total of three members (including Vincent Garibaldi). As this party continued growing, he steadily worked his way out of absolute poverty to slightly less than absolute poverty, and managed to land a spot in the US army. He eventually left for Anarchy, the new smallest party in the nation. It was a momentous decision with profound consequences on his young, malleable mind. After learning much from Reverend VW, he has professed a belief in Anarchy (sans adjectives) ever since.

As a member of anarchy, he ran for mayor of Sacramento, losing to Jefferson Steelflex and coming second to last, with a total of three votes. Soon his political career received a boost as he was named Director of the California Health Service. Eventually, with the dismemberment of the regional system with the coming of V1, he was left to beg for funds for the CHS, with little success. While he was promised a spot in the Department of Regional Affairs, the department evaporated with the departure of both Steelflex and Roby Petric.

At the beginning of V1, however, he successfully ran for Party president of Anarchy, to protect the party from those without the spirit of Anarchy burning in their breasts.

Coming into his own

Vincent soon realized that working was for chumps. To this end he began hustling to make ends meet. Primarily acting as a real estate trader, he was, and is, the co-owner of The Second Hand Shop. He also began to manage his own companies, eventually establishing a small, but profitable, collection of companies in diverse places. He also began actively recruiting and organizing Anarchy. He quickly learned that organizing Anarchists is even harder than it sounds.

Eventually Vincent joined the US Marines, and was finally able to experience the joy of fighting for an organized military.

Disillusionment with the USA

The marines kept Vincent happy enough for some time. However, he realized that opportunities in the USA were limited, and that there were too many hubris filled morons, thus leading to what was meant to be a whirlwind world tour. Before leaving he endorsed Michael Lewis for president as the Anarchy candidate. Leading to ML's third place finish.

Thailand

The first stop on Vincent's world tour was Thailand, since he had seen so many of those damn recruitment articles and wanted to see what all of the fuss was about. Arriving at the tail end of the Guy Kilmore presidency, Vincent was named Minister of Defense under the second Jack Roberts administration. He stayed a bit longer than intended. Eventually serving as the president of Thailand.
