Uber Editors are experienced wiki editors that have created a reputation for quality in their wiki edits. Uber Editors are helpful to other users and do their best to display the positive traits in the eRepublik:Behavior policy.
Uber Editors are nominated by other Uber Editors. Among which the following are considered:
- Contributions
- Quality
- Understanding of the wiki code
- Innovations
- Frequency of contributions to the wiki
Nomination Process
Users can be nominated by current Uber Editors or nominate themselves in the Bar by briefly listing their accomplishments and contributions. The current Uber Editors will review the user's actions, provide feedback, and then vote. The general wiki community can also offer feedback, but not vote. Voting will last seven days. If the vote is in favor of the Uber Editor promotion, then the title and Uber Editor star is awarded.
Retirement Process
Uber Editors are active members of the community who are available to help others. When one is no longer active, then they should retire to signify their change in status. Uber Editors can be forcibly retired if the person breaks the rules and trust of the Wiki community.
The process for retirement is similar to nomination. An Uber Editor can nominate another for retirement in the Bar. A reason for the retirement, such as no longer active, too busy with real life, breaking wiki rules, disrupting the community, etc. must be stated. The current Uber Editors will review the user's actions, provide feedback, and then vote. The general wiki community can also offer feedback, but not vote. Voting will last seven days.
In cases of voluntary retirement, an Uber Editor only needs to state that they are retiring and voting will not be required. Their retirement will be effective the date of their choosing.
Retired Uber Editors will be remembered on this page and on their User Pages with a Former Uber Editor badge to and the dates of their service to the community.
Note: Retired Uber Editors can reinstate their status by leaving a notice in the bar. Note 2: If Uber Editor doesn't edit a thing in 9 months, he will be retired with retirement date approximately 6 months after last edit.
