So, are we not going to nominate people? What is this? I do not have anything against those who have just been selected as Uber Editors to be Uber Editors however I didn't see any nomination, what I saw was a dictator deciding who is Uber Editor and who is not. How does this thing work anyway? Can I pick people I want to be Uber Editor to be Uber Editors now? --Aryamehr Flag of Iran talk 17:35, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

I am a dictator now? You assume that I made the decision to honor two editors' hard work without discussing it with other people. You are incorrect. Just because the discussion wasn't held here doesn't mean it wasn't held.
Your latest contributions to the wiki only seem to be criticism. If there are things that you do not like, why don't you take action? If you think we should have a policy for nominating uber editors, then why don't you work on one? --QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 18:54, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Please read the first post: "Uber Editors are nominated by other Uber Editors. Among which the following are considered: " I did not see any nomination. Don't get angry at me, I am trying to follow rules here. And I have already done enough, way before you arrived I was the one who got this place set up and created all the important articles, started the ideas of groups, todo lists, policies etc. --Aryamehr Flag of Iran talk 21:33, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Bump. --Aryamehr Flag of Iran talk 10:58, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
Actually, Koroush, QJ and Belea just get drunk and post the Uber Editor tag on a few people who happen to be online at a time. How do you think you got yours? -Emerick 18:59, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
That's nice of you, please read the rules though eRepublik:Behavior_policy. Don't try so hard to be part of the 4channers. --Aryamehr Flag of Iran talk 13:23, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
There are a couple of people there that no longer devote time to the wiki anymore, most noticeably is ThisGenMedia. These people should be relegated back to normal editors, imo. Pierric Bross 04:23, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
I also agree with you on that point! Uber Editors are supposed to be active, help etc and there is no point in inactive ones. --Aryamehr Flag of Iran talk 14:27, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
  1. It does not state anywhere that the Wiki Community must approve a nomination or reject it. Uber Editors are appointed based on their deeds. It anyone considers that the current system is flawed, then that person should propose some guidelines or a policy for nominating and appointing Uber Editors.
  2. I propose to make a separate category for "no longer active" Uber Editors. Any thoughts on this idea?

John Daker

I edited one of the Uber Editors from User:John Daker to User:NicolaeCarpathia, because they are one and the same (at least, according to NicolaeCarpathia), only now the link actually goes to the Uber editors user page. -- Timeoin 15:15 09 January 2010.
