Born in Marseilles, eFrance in January 2010, Gerard Fournier has always aspired to a life of politics. Searching for a nation in which he could make a legitimate difference, Gerard fled eFrance to eSwitzerland joining his long-time friend and ally, Alois Goudeau. The change he sought so desperately to inspire did not come however when the corrupt political climate of eSwitzerland kept Fournier from receiving eSwiss citizenship. Stranded in eSwitzerland with no political career, Fournier's life would descend into destitution.

Finally, after a nearly year long hiatus from eRepublik, Gerard returned and sought passage to eAmerica where he knew there was a very active forum of politics. Gaining citizenship and forging ahead, Gerard became the eUS's ambassador to eFrance. His current project includes working with current Secretary of State Onishi to bring eFrance into the fold of a new international alliance.
