Text of the declaration
"It has long been the nature of we humans to form bonds with one another. Choosing not to live alone, we develop kinships with others who share our views and who agree with our overall principles by which we govern ourselves. When enough of us gather, we form groups; societies; even civilizations, all of us linked by some common theme, some purpose, some goal that drives each and every one of the individuals to work together for the good of the whole. However, it is unfortunately inevitable, either due to the influence of a specific individual, or when a group becomes too large, or simply because of the passage of time, that the original purpose of this society becomes corroded; perverted; mutated into such a monstrous creature that it bears little to no semblance to its original self. When this occurs, it is the duty of the members of the society to recognize and deal with this perversion as needed.
As such, We, The People of the State of Hawaii, do hereby declare the United States of America an unfit Society and formally Secede from our former Government. In its stead, we found the Sovereign Nation of Hawaii and declare this government as Ruler of the Islands of Hawaii. We no longer consider ourselves beholden to the Federal Government of the United States, nor its President. Any and all laws legalized by the United States are declared Null and Void on Hawaiian territory, to be replaced by our own set of laws and guidelines. Furthermore, all Hawaiian Citizens renounce their American citizenship in favor of becoming citizens of the Nation.
It is our belief that in its current condition, the United States has irreparably damaged its reputation in the eyes of the world, to the extent that attempting to heal the wounds from the inside is impossible. As such, our next best option is to start anew, just like our Forefathers many a year ago. We, the people of Hawaii, seek to establish a new Utopia founded on the principles of old, uncorrupted by the arrogance, bureaucracy, and greed that has rotted the United States from within.
To our citizens, we offer you a new life. To other Americans, we ask that you consider our cause a just one: our boarders are open and welcoming to anyone who wishes to join our cause. To the Leaders of the American government, we ask that you respect our decision. To our Pakistani brothers currently sharing our homes, we shall treat you like our own, whatever your reasons for being here may be. We offer our Sky and our Sand to share with you, with the hope that you shall return our hospitality in kind. To the World, we offer you no harm, but merely a new beginning. We offer you change. So long as you come in peace, we offer you our homes and hearts for yours."
Government
"The Nation of Hawaii shall be led by the Illuminati Government, represented by Hawaii ex-Mayor Korbin King, until due process is established. We would ask that all Hawaiian citizens and sympathizers join the Illuminati for identification purposes. Regarding the US-Canadian War: until the Admin can sort out the technicalities, we are roped into the war. Hawaiian citizens are free to do whatever they wish, whether they would like to fight and on which side they want to fight on is up to them. The official stance of the Hawaiian government is neutral on the matter. Questions may be directed to either myself or Korbin."
