Gambit Lowdown is a Newspaper in the United Kingdom created by Gambit8.
The Newspaper focuses on main world events rather than Gambit's own opinions, but even more accurately the newspaper focuses on wars and warfare analysis. Gambit publishes an article almost every day with a summary of wars taken place around the world. Why the war started, where they will attack next etc etc.
At the bottom of articles, Gambit expresses his thoughts on the wars and what he thinks should happen, but his opinions constitutes to less than 10% of the article.

Creation
Gambit Lowdown was created 31st March 2011. It was made to inform eUK about foreign affairs and current wars etc. The First article was written the day after Gambit had revisited the game after 10 months so the first article was a flop with facts being unreliable or completely wrong however the eUK were supportive and pointed Gambit in the right direction leading to 22 more articles that were up-to-scratch.

Quick Fact
One unique thing in Gambit Lowdown is the quick fact at the end of at least one article per day, these facts are usually facts about Britain. The facts can vary from being serious British history or humorous laws. These days Gambit does not due Quick Facts usually because the articles have enough work to be put into anyway as they are much longer than in the past.
Union Flag
At the start of almost all articles of Gambit Lowdown there is a Union Flag to get the readers in a patriotic mood. If there isn't the Union Flag then there is something related to the UK, such as the SAS insignia or in the 33rd article there was the Special Reconnaissance Regiment insignia, another part of the United Kingdom's Special Forces in real life.
However nowadays, Gambit uses his own custom header instead of a Union Flag.
Comments
Gambit encourages the readers to comment and chip in their information, sometimes if the information given by the readers is reliable it will either edited into the article or be thought about in the next article. Gambit wants people to share their knowledge and most importantly, to share their opinions. Gambit's newspaper has on many occasions been raided by Irish readers in which they shout about their arrogance and constantly leave negative comments about the article.
World War V
Gambit has been writing a lot about WWV and because of how quick things change it is very hard to keep track of everything. With Gambit Lowdown being a newspaper that looks at all wars Gambit has to keep track of all war happening or ones that are about to happen.
National Newspaper Association Award
Gambit Lowdown won the Gold Medal Award for having a consistently good amount amount of votes on articles and a great amount of subscribers. Emergy Maxfell was the one who put the idea forward to give the newspaper a gold medal, as to get the medal before Gambit's 50th article. The Gold Medal Award had not been given out for over 300 days which made the award a lot more special than normal. The award was given out on the 19th May 2011.
