Mission

Social democracy is a movement of freedom. Our mission is to make possibilities such as getting an education, getting a job and forming a family a possibility for everyone.

We know that true freedom requires equality, and true freedom requires solidarity and personal responsibility. In Japan the distance increases between poor and rich, those who are discriminated against because of their gender, cultural background, ethnicity, functional disability and sexual orientation. But increased gorges and alienation does not only affect the freedom of these victims, it reduces the freedom of everyone. Therefore one of our most important goals is to make sure that everyone, not only some, are given the possibility of a good life.

With the help of a strong growth in population and an increase of resources we will reduce these gorges, push back the income-differences and strengthen the welfare.
