User-created position

Commander is a title used to describe a position or role within an organisation which is usually the highest link in a Chain of Command. If he/she controls the whole military sometimes is referred as Chief commander. Also, commander can be the highest link in paramilitary groups.
Political
Various countries throughout the New World under chief commander refer to the President of that country or to the Minister of Defence who in fact control the official country military.
