The newspaper, originally named "The Word Down Under", later known as The Book of Dear Father, was created with the intention of producing fun and entertaining articles.

An example of this was seen in an article where a slander advertisement was run on eAustralian Citizens Timeoin, Binda33 and Sir_c0nstant which stated that they couldn't be trusted. Dartreal took it a step further and "launched an investigation" into the three that "turned up evidence" of them being former eInternational Criminals who ran a crime syndicate that dealt with murder, kidnapping, extortion, weapons smuggling and drug dealing.

While writing up articles, Dartreal noticed a lack of interviews in the Australian newspapers. He decided that he was going to start having interviews with popular Australian and eventually try and get an interview with well known figures from other countries. He called the interview "Dinner & Discussion with Dartreal".

Dartreal will often ask three questions to all people he interviews days before the interview is conducted. He asks them what they want "served for dinner", all their achievements in eRepublik (politics, military, etc) and will often ask for a photo (either a real life picture or avatar) to create bad photoshops to accompany the interview.

Throughout the interview, Dartreal will mention current events going on in eRepublik or begin talking about something the interviewee has done. Instead of following it up with a question related to the topic he will often go completely off track and ask something completely unrelated such as "What's your favourite colour?" or "If you're stuck on a deserted island, what three things would you take?". During the interview Dartreal will often throw in a random or weird fact to the interviewee and begin asking questions based around what is being discussed, leading to some weird moments for both himself and the interviewee. The dinners would conclude with a game of Word Association.

All Hail Dear Father!
 +
Dartreal returned to eRepublik in the month of July vowing to bring back the fun not only to eAustralia, but to eRepublik in general. Feeling that the media was dead and needed a much needed boost, Darteal returned back to his old personality "The Dear Father" and declared war on then CP of Australia Majester and all who supported him. This led to a series of satire articles (stopped due to people taking them seriously) as well as the return of Dartreal's comics, introducing supporters to the Dear Father's cause.
 +

 +
Soon Majester and his sidekicks were added in as enemies of the Dear Father, along with the addition of the Australian MU - the KnightHawks. The series ended with a battle between the Dear Father forces and the Majester/KnightHawk alliance. The final comic saw the transition from the "old style" of comics to the "new style".

The Dear Father CP Campaign
 +
The campaign that started off the "Dear Father" personality of Dartreal. A few years back Dartreal decided to have some fun by throwing his hat into the CP ring for fun. A full Lulz Campaign was launched with a mixture of comics and articles. The theme that the campaign was based around was dictatorships and Dartreal turned into the "Dear Father", a crazed, violent ruler who "cared" for everyone as if they were his own children. He envisioned a peaceful world that he would achieve through conquering and annexing every nation.
 +

 +
Despite heavy warnings on the end of all articles that the campaign was a joke, and despite changing his avatar to "DON'T VOTE FOR ME" on the day of elections, Dartreal beat two other serious candidates and came third. And the rest is history...

 +
Around a year later Dartreal started up a new Lulz CP run, this time basing his campaign on religion. The idea was to release a series of "fables" that were satire spins on bible stories before the "campaigning" began. Thanks to a little Indonesian PTO, Dartreal lost interest and stopped being involved heavily in eRepublik - along with the majority of the Australian community.

The Adventures of Majester
 +
A contest was run to find a Superhero for Dartreal's new comic series. In the end, it was Majester who was judged the best Superhero based on his "powers" and personality. Miss Ruby & Glacier joined him in his fight against the criminals of the City of Winchesterfieldvilleberg. Due to real life commitments, illness and a little PTO that happened, Dartreal cut the series short after one episode.

History

The Word Down Under logo

The newspaper, originally named "The Word Down Under", later known as The Book of Dear Father, was created with the intention of producing fun and entertaining articles.

Originally the newspaper would produce one or two of these a week. It would take an issue that a lot of people were talking about and a satire twist would be added to it. They are normally something completely over-the-top and made up.

An example of this was seen in an article where a slander advertisement was run on Australian Citizens Timeoin, Binda33 and Sir_c0nstant which stated that they couldn't be trusted. Dartreal took it a step further and "launched an investigation" into the three that "turned up evidence" of them being former international Criminals who ran a crime syndicate that dealt with murder, kidnapping, extortion, weapons smuggling and drug dealing.

Accompanying the articles would be badly photoshopped photos of the people mentioned in the article. Not much time is put into any of the photos adding to the flavour of the article.

Eventually, Dartreal started doing the "eAustralian History Comics" as part of a baby boom attempt to promote Australia and eRepublik. Though it did little to help the boom, the comics became popular in eRepublik and were released weekly. From there Dartreal turned his attention to making comics and the rest is history!

Dinner & Discussion with Dartreal

The dinners would conclude with a game of Word Association.

eRepublik eHistory eComic

While serving as the Minister of Baby Booming, Dartreal created a history comic of Australia recalling the nation's past events. It was used in the promoting of Australia and eRepublik. Dartreal decided that due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from both eAustralians and from other countries, he was going to control the series as the "eRepublik eHistory eComic."

This led to a series of satire articles (stopped due to people taking them seriously) as well as the return of Dartreal's comics, introducing supporters to the Dear Father's cause.

The Dear Father CP Campaign

The campaign that started off the "Dear Father" personality of Dartreal. A few years back Dartreal decided to have some fun by throwing his hat into the CP ring for fun. A full Lulz Campaign was launched with a mixture of comics and articles. The theme that the campaign was based around was dictatorships and Dartreal turned into the "Dear Father", a crazed, violent ruler who "cared" for everyone as if they were his own children. He envisioned a peaceful world that he would achieve through conquering and annexing every nation.

Despite heavy warnings on the end of all articles that the campaign was a joke, and despite changing his avatar to "DON'T VOTE FOR ME" on the day of elections, Dartreal beat two other serious candidates and came third. And the rest is history...

"Smear" Attacks On Dartreal's CP Opponents

Heavenly Father

Around a year later Dartreal started up a new Lulz CP run, this time basing his campaign on religion. The idea was to release a series of "fables" that were satire spins on bible stories before the "campaigning" began. Thanks to a little Indonesian PTO, Dartreal lost interest and stopped being involved heavily in eRepublik - along with the majority of the Australian community.

Part 2: Dear Father Has Come To Save You, Again! - Dartreal restarted the campaign after coming down with a virus.
