e-Eurovision Song Contest is an idea which origins from Icon-Ireland.png Ireland and is about countries sharing their music. Those countries are the one which actually competed at the real Eurovision.

Representatives from each participating country gathered and decided the rules for the 1st contest and also that the contest will take place each 6 months.

The 1st contest was hosted by Ireland and the venue was eIreland's Radio channel at plug.dj on Thursday 11th June 2015 at 8:00 eRepublik time and 14 countries presented there their songs.

The competing countries were:

Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine.

Before the contest, a total of 18 countries have expressed their interest to join. Romania & Sweden never sent a song, while Albania & Lithuania even though they sent songs, they never presented them so all 4 were excluded from the final list.

The voting system was the 6-point (6, 4, 3, 2 and 1).

Each country hold its own national poll to make the final votes.

The contest was reborn by Icon-Switzerland.png Switzerland at the beggining of March 2016 and the venue was eEurovision Song Contest's channel at dubtrack.fm on Sunday 27th March 2016 at 12:00 eRepublik time and 26 countries presented there their songs.

As eEurovision was greatly accepted by other countries at the 1st contest, thus the highly increased number of the participants. The contest took place at dubtrack.fm, as plug.dj wasn't available anymore. The new host venue was proposed to be used at the future contests aswell.

The competing countries were:

Albania, Armenia, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Foxland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

Countries that participated at the 1st contest, but not at the 2nd:

Belarus, Denmark, Finland, Spain and Ukraine.

From the participating countries, all but Albania voted, so Albania got disqualified losing all of its points it received.

The voting system that was used, due to the high number of participants, was the 12-point (12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1).

Award

Designed by tommot.
The award of the winning country is the ability to host the next contest and also fame.

Rules

Those rules are either for organizing a contest as the host or as a participant country either for song itself.

From the 1st contest, there have been decided few and basic rules, as it was the first time something like this was organized. Each country may have its own rules when it selects their entry, but in the end it must within the limits. Citizens of a country, are referred as the the players who have the CS of that country.

Representative

Representative is the member of the goverment or a citizen appointed by the goverment, responsible for taking entry of the participation of his/hers country at the contest. It's the one responsible for the communication with the hosting committee of the contest, the song selection and the voting. The representative may have other players helping him. If there's any problem, he/she can appoint another player for specific jobs with the hosting committee.

Song selection

A country has the option of: - holding a national final, where citizens from that country propose their songs and later they vote to select the winning song. - a direct assignment of the entry, where the goverment or the appointed representative selects the entry itself.

Songs

The artist(s) of the song must be from the country they represent. There's no limitation at the duration of the song. There's no limitation at the language of the song. There's no limitation at the release year of the song. Instrumental songs are allowed. Real Eurovision songs are allowed.

Voting

The countries should hold national polls where they vote for other countries. How they will hold it it's up to them, but all countries must make the poll during the voting deadline, else if no poll is made thus no votes from that country, then it will be disqualified.

In case of ties at critical places, such as the 1st place for the final scoreboard or for the votes of each country, the real Eurovision's rule is followed:

First, it's most voters. If still tie, then most 12's, 10's etc.. If still tie, then the country that performed first during the contest, unless it's the host country.
