Epic battles were introduced during Epic Warfare Tournament. When a battle became epic, triple presige points were awarded. After the tournament was over, they were kept just as a visual effect – with different battle background and special icon on campaigns page, but with no triple prestige points being awarded anymore.

Before division changes, damage needed for battle to become epic was like this:
