Politics

H.Nelson has been heavily involved in Australian politics both in the Australian Senate and also as an active member of the Australian Independents Party. He first became a senator of Australia on August 26, 2009, when he was elected to represent Tasmania. Next month he decided to run for office in his home state, Queensland, where he has been re-elected every month since. He is now currently serving his 12th term in the eAustralian Senate.

H.Nelson also served three terms as Inspector General and was responsible for advising the Executive Government and Senate. In April 2010 he was honoured to have been accepted as a Commander of the Order of Australia.

H.Nelson was also the Party president of the Australian Independents Party on three separate occasions. After his party was taken over by Indonesians he decided to change parties and he is now a member of the Australian National Party.
