Izquierda Social Democrata is a political party in Argentina.

It was founded in June 2008 by a group of people who wanted to express themselves away from the shadow of PDRA party. First named as Iniciativa por Argentina los Verdes it was quickly taken over and renamed to Movimiento Popular Argentino and later to Partido Socialdemocrata Argentino. After a time, it merged with another party Izquierda Progresista and took the name that now beholds.
