Johannes Lautour is a citizen of 
Netherlands, born and living in the Northern Netherlands.
He's quite young, but ambition and hard work earned him some experience and rank within the Dutch society.
Politics
Johannes joined Democratisch Nederland, out of a belief in a free, democratic society. He strongly believes every Citizen should get at least the oportunity to grow and prosper and should benefit from the cumulated knowledge and experience of Dutch society.
To achieve such goal, the State has an important role to facilitate and educate. It should (pro)actively inform all of its citizens of the possibilities of the New World and the Netherlands.
Because democracy can only work through proper representation, he decided to run for Party President this early in his Career already. An election with only one candidate is worse than having no election at all and only feeds disinterest in (party) politics.
By running, he hopes to at least fuel the debate of who Democratisch Nederland are today and who they should be tomorrow.
Should he however be elected as Party President, it will not be a void and meaningless term. The internal debate will be tackled and together with the active members of the party, Democratisch Nederland will be seen in the upcoming Congress Elections.
Media

NederlandVandaag focuses on lighter news and entertainment. It is more than just another Newspaper though: thanks to its' presence on Youtube as well, it also aspires to be an eRepublik radio station.
