With a successful platform for senate, Petergladwell received 15 votes in the state of New South Wales, and this was enough to see him elected as a senator of the Australian Independents.
July 2009
Petergladwell decided to re-run for senate in the month of July 2009. He again released a successful platform, and was successful in becoming re-elected to New South Wales. This month he received 7 votes, which was sufficient enough for him to win Wildcard nomination.
August 2009
In August 2009, Petergladwell decided to run for the state of South Australia. Again, he ran under the banner of Australian Independents, and he was successful in being re-elected, this time needing just 3 votes to do so.
