The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is a men's professional basketball league in the Philippines composed of ten company-branded franchised teams. It was the first professional basketball league in Asia and is the second oldest in the world after the NBA.[1] The league's regulations are a hybrid of rules from FIBA and the NBA.

The Philippine Basketball Association is currently led by the Commissioner and Founder Boy Pick Up, together with the help of Vincenzo Roque, Assistant Commissioner of the league. Currently, the finances of the league are held by the President of the Philippines and the Minister of Finance.

Game Venue

PBA games are usually held in either the Smart Araneta Coliseum located in Quezon City and the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, both in Luzon. Some games are also held in Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

International Promotion

The Philippine Basketball Association has affiliates that promote the league internationally. They have currently reached Malaysia and have pending offers in the USA, Turkey and Republic of Macedonia.
