SzEM (meaning Eye; full name: Szövetség egy Erős Magyarországért, meaning Alliance for a Strong Hungary) is a Hungarian political party. The party's IRC channel is #szem on the Rizon server. For more detailed information, see the Hungarian version of this article.
Mission statement
The aim of the party is to live and act for eHungary. To support the government or to criticise it – according to need. To publish a load of articles or to act silently – according to need. This party is a center party, neither leftist, nor rightist. It does not want to act upon IRL emotions. It works pragmatically, but does not completely reject parallels with real politics – therefore it is centrist. The goal of the party is to achieve a strong imperial state of Hungary – with respect to political, military, and economic standing.
The SzEM abbreviation (meaning Eye) is not merely coincidental. Members of the party wish to look upon eHungary with a watchful eye, give attention to every event, keep a check on governmental steps, and react when needed.
