The 1st Parliament of New Zealand was in session from October, 25 to November 25, 2010. The membership was set by the November 25 parliamentary elections. It did not change radically until the results from the November 25 parliamentary elections came in.
No single party held a majority in the Parliament. The two largest parties being Aotearoa and New Zealand Union Party. Three other parties were represented in the Parliament along with the previously mentioned two. These included the Kiwi People's Party, Kiwi Social Democrats and the Peace 'n' Prosperity Party.
This Parliament was the first elected body since NZ was created in-game. It had the task of laying the foundation of all basic laws. It also worked with the first Prime Minister, Calbe and his Cabinet when he was elected on November 5, 2011.
