Use the menu in the right to help you getting started or you can read the policies of the eRepublik Official Wiki, which must be followed at all times. Read also the tips and the guide to editing.

You are free to improve this Wiki but take into account that any act of vandalism on this Wiki is considered an infringement of eRepublik Rules and might bring a permanent ban to your citizen (the eRepublik account, not only the Wiki one).

Getting Started

The following lists the basics that ALL citizens should read before starting off in the wiki.

User Page vs Citizen Page

User pages are automatically created when the user account is created. This page is a place to write about your real life self and your wiki projects. You can access your user page by following this link: Special:Mypage. Fellow editors can contact you through your user talk page, you can access your page by clicking Special:Mytalk.

Note:DO NOT use a Citizen Template on your User Page.
DO NOT make a redirect from your User Page to your Citizen Page (it makes it difficult for people to leave messages for you).

Citizen Pages are created by users to describe their "eRepublik selves." Citizens can list their accomplishments and let others know about what they have done in the game. Creating this page separately from your user page means that other authors will have an easier time linking to your page and won't have to type "User" before your name.

Translating Pages

Many users become part of the wiki community to translate pages. There are different guidelines and templates for translated pages, so please read and understand Help:Translating Pages.

Wiki Community

If you need help or advice, the best place to take it is the eRepublik:Bar. This is the community sounding board and where to go for help. For quick help or just to hang out with fellow editors on IRC, try #wiki on rizon.net.

You can also contact one of the Uber Editors. These are a group of active users on the wiki.

Experiment, but Use a Sandbox

Any time you want to experiment, please create a sandbox. This will allow you a location in your user name space to test templates, experiment with format, or write without having the page in the main wiki.

• Create your sandbox by creating a page at Special:Mypage/Sandbox.
• When finished with a sandbox, please clear all content from the page

EXAMPLES: Sandbox 1 or Sandbox 2.

Ownership

Everyone here has equal rights to edit and maintain articles (with a few exceptions).

Reverting and Edit Wars

Be careful when reverting, because all users that get involved in edit warring will be blocked.

Password change

If, for any reason, you wish to change your password (or if you have somehow forgot it), type your User name and select "E-mail password". An automatically generated password will be mailed so you can log on eRepublik Wiki. Afterwords, you can modify your password by accessing my preferences where you will fill in your new one. A notification mail will be sent to you.
