Working

The main way in which you can earn money

Level 1

Job Market1.jpg

There will be a selection of jobs listed for your skill level of 0, if not please contact the Japanese Interior Service and ask for a job to be opened for you.

  • Icon adv idle.png Choose a Career.

There are three types of skills in which you can work with:

Icon skill manufacturing.gifManufacturing

Manufacturing or Land are currently the best choices. Once you have chosen one stick with it for the rest of the game, this will lead to higher wages more quickly. A list of Industries and Skills can be found at the bottom of the page.

  • Icon-adv-getajob.png Choose a Company.

Choose a company with 1stars.gif One Star next to it's name, also known as Quality One or Q1. Companies with more than One Star will quickly kill a new citizen as they drain your Wellness.

  • Icon-adv-work.png Work!.

Click Apply and then click Work! Congratulations, you have earned your first Wages and increased your Skill Points!

  • Icon adv idle.png Review your choice.

You are contracted to work for your company for three days. However you can (and should) leave immediately if they do not have any materials for you to work with or money to pay you with.

Level 2+

  • Icon adv idle.png Review your choice.

You are contracted to work for your company for three days. After this you should consider switching companies to one with better wages. If you don't want to check so often, a good time to review your job is when your working skill reaches a new level.

Always make sure that the new job improves the same skill as the old one! You can find a list of job and skill types at the bottom of the page.

If you do find a better offer on the Job Market, you can easily Resign from your job and Apply for the new one. The job market is very fluid, so do not be afraid of switching companies as many times as you like until you find a good one!

  • Icon achievement Hard Worker on.gif Hardworkers Medal.

If you work 30 days in a row, you gain a medal for your profile. Every medal you receive earns you 5 Gold - an amount many times a new citizen's wage!

Job Types

  • Land skill is used to collect raw materials:

Icon - Iron.pngIron
Icon - Diamonds.jpgDiamonds
Icon - Oil.pngOil
As the Japan only has the Grain resource , you must choose a Grain company to increase your Land skill. Offers in other resource types will be mistakes, and you will be heavily taxed for accepting them.

  • Manufacturing Skill is used to turn the above raw materials into finished products:

All of these are produced in the Japan and are good choices for a new citizen.

  • Construction Skill is used to turn Wood into constructions:

While Houses are produced in the Japan, choosing this skill usually leads to lower wages and is useless if you ever join the Military.
