[b]The main screen[/b]

At this point the game offers you the opportunity to do a tutorial (top left of the screen). This is useful as the user interface is quite complex and there are a lot of mistakes you can quite easily make. At this point, the tutorial is basically a set route which will allow you to complete some early missions, gain some insight into the basics of the game, and introduce some key elements of the game’s mechanics that will be referenced in this guide.

Each of these elements are accessible from the homepage: 1. My Places This contains all of your things: companies, training grounds, your inventory and other special buildings. In the tutorial, you will learn how to [u]train[/u] and how to [u]work[/u]. Both of these are essential daily tasks, as they are rewarded with in game gold.

2. Wars This is where battles between countries take place. All references to fighting, are actually references to wars: as without a war, you can’t fight!

3. Energy bar Activity on eRepublik is contingent on you having some energy. As with all energy based games, energy regenerates over time. Unlike most other time regenerate games, eRepublik allows you to effectively use double your energy. For the purposes of this tutorial, we’ll refer to ‘Energy bank’ and ‘Energy pool’. Your energy bank is your [u]stored[/u] energy, in the image, this account’s energy bank is full at 100 energy. Your energy pool, is energy which you can recover, but have not yet recovered, to your energy bank. Thus, even though your energy [u]bank[/u] may be full at 100, eRepublik will still allow you to store another 100 energy in your energy [u]store[/u]; so a player’s total energy, is actually double the number shown here.
