Serving in the Congress for 9 terms, he was given the role of Vice Minister of Defense under Minister of Defense Vreath on May 6th, 2011.
On June 6th, 2011, he was promoted to full Minister of Defense in the Rangeley administration. In this role, he led the Osterreichs Bundesheer in efforts to liberate the Philippines early in June, and key resistance wars in Austria later that month.
Appointed again in July for a second term, he oversaw heightened military cooperation with Czechoslovakia during the Croatian invasion of Czechoslovakia and Austria.
On August 5th, he was endorsed by the Osterreich Independence Party for the position of President - and was successfully elected. He opted to continue in the position of Minister of Defense as well.
On December 5th, 2011, he was elected President of Austria for the second time.
