Drake Koeth

Drake Koeth is a citizen of the eUSA. Having joined the game along with friends, Drake began his eRepublik career in the Netherlands. However, he soon tired of being unable to read the newspapers in that country and so chose to move home to the eUSA, and to Oklahoma in specific. He would later move to Florida in order to take advantage of the Quality 5 Hospital there during wartime.
Jobs
Drake's major field of employment is in the Manufacturing sector, where he is considered a highly skilled laborer. He has some experience working in Land based companies, but prefers Manufacturing. For quite some time he was employed by eUSA Star Co in their weapons company, though he spent several months in their moving tickets company prior to that. eUSA Star Co is a great employer and one that Drake has been quite happy to work for loyally. More recently he took a job with the Patriots of America org, in the company Weapon.X. He finds this to be a prestigious opportunity since, even with 10.8 Skill, he has the third least skill in the company.
Politics
Not one for political bickering nor scandal, Drake tends to distance himself from politics. He researches his vote, but often refuses to take active participation in government beyond that. A soldier at heart, he dislikes the nature of politics. He is a member of the Umbrella Research Party, out of loyalty to the Umbrella Corporation.
Military
Drake is days from gaining the in-game rank of Field Marshal. He has achieved this through his long experience in the Army, which gave him the opportunity to fight quite often, as well as his time in the Airborne and with Seal Team 6. In addition to this, he is nearing 18 Strength and looks forward to his fourth Super Soldier medal.
As soon as he moved to the eUSA Drake contacted the eArmy, intending to join. After speaking with the eArmy's leadership he was placed as a Private in 2nd Squad of Echo Company in the 2nd Division. He found this to his liking, but wanted to go further. Having extensive experience in leading military units in other worlds, he sought promotion and soon became the squad leader of 3rd Squad (which later became 3rd Platoon) of Delta Company in the 2nd Division. He served under Captain goaly1323 there.
As the leadership of the eArmy changed, Cpt. goaly1323 was given a promotion and gained command of 2nd Division. He chose Drake to replace him, and so Drake left 3rd Platoon and became the new Captain of Delta Company. He continued in this role through the next series of conflicts: the eAmerican invasion of eFrance.
After the invasion failed the eArmy's high command was replaced, leading to a thorough reorganization. The eArmy was now organized by timezone, placing Drake in CENT. When this occurred he also received quite a surprise. He'd been promoted, becoming one of the four original Colonels and commander of 2nd Army (CENT). He spent a long time there, along with his new XO, Major Headmistress Talia, helping to lead the forces of the eUSA against her enemies in PEACE. He resigned from this position in late May of 2009 after six months on the job, citing Real Life issues. During his time in the position he helped to oversee massive changes in the structure of the Army, and even had the privilege of officially accepting the first graduates of the National Guard into the Army.
Drake Koeth returned to active duty in early June, 2009, joining the new Army Airborne. His first posting with this new branch was as Executive Officer to Colonel Maximillian VW with the rank of Major. His unit was the 82nd Airborne Battalion. At one time Drake was also assigned Quartermaster duties in the Airborne, but was forced to retire not long after.
After some months of relative retirement -as much of a retirement as World War III gave him- Drake chose to rejoin the military. He was accepted to the United States Marine Corp, but had already given his word to Josh Frost to join Seal Team 6. He could not break his word, and so turned down the position in the Marines. Drake served well in ST6, fighting consistently and dealing much damage. He resigned from the Seals to pursue other interests at the end of November 2009.
Umbrella Corporation
Coming soon...far too much to speak of to put it all down right now. Suffice to say, Drake is the CEO of the Umbrella Corporation.
