Eldorino is a resident of eCanada since he began to play, on 24.04.2009 - Day 521 of the New World. He is currently a member of the CPP, the CAF and General Secretary of the Office Francophone, a Canadian organization devoted to the inclusion and preservation of Québecois culture and language within the Canadian community.
Biography
Early Life
Eldorino found eRepublik by chance, and quickly came to enjoy the game and its concept. After finding a job, however, he was finished for the day. The next day, he began to understand more and more of the game's functions. Leveling up quickly, he became involved in a party the day he was able to do so. The choice was already made, however, as he experienced his first Congressional elections (in which he couldn't vote) and saw all the parties' platforms. The CPP had him.
Around this time, it was an important moment for the francophone community as Vulcain created the Office Francophone and began to ask for a francophone section on eCanada's forums, and the creation of a French platoon in the CAF. Eldorino then became involved to an extent in the francophone section of the forum, where he began to make a name for himself in the community. His involvement in the party as Unity Committee's Assistant is also noticed.
Ascension
After the Presidential elections of May, a slow period ensued Eldorino, in which most of this time was spent translating all the Acts of Canada into French. During this time, however, he began to learn more about the game as he involved himself to an increasing degree. Finally, shortly before the next Presidential election, Vulcain gave him the keys of the Office Francophone. It's also by this time he was accepted into the 22e "Régiment Royal", the francophone platoon of the CAF. He was contacted by then-Prime Ministerial candidate Jacobi for an office as translator, and accepted. The election ended in a victory for Jacobi, and Eldorino was appointed as Director of the Office Francophone, a title shared with the General Secretary.
Achievements
Eldorino has singlehandedly translated seven Acts of Canada and the Ministries and Justices list. His contributions into the CPP Unity Committee also counted in final decisions by the party. Finally, in his newly appointed role as General Secretary for the Office Francophone, he managed to gain a position in a ministerial organisation for Jacobi's tenure.
