On February 25, 2011, Kevin was elected Congress Member for Nunavut with 6 votes.
On March 25, 2011, Kevin was elected Congress Member for Ontario with 35 votes, receiving more votes than any other candidate in any region. (Coda, the other Congress Member for Ontario was next with 27 votes)
On March 30, 2011, Kevin was elected Speaker of Congress by his fellow Congress Members. The results were 14 votes for Kevin Cooper, 7 votes for Max Maher, 4 votes for Code-Y and 1 member abstaining. Kevin selected Max Maher to serve as Deputy Speaker.
