This template creates a succession box column to be used with Template:S-start and Template:S-end, preferably instead of template Template:S-bef.

Usage

The format is {{s-new|reason=text}}, where text is replaced by the text to be displayed. If reason is not used, predefined value is New title.

Parameters

• reason (optional) — Adds a title line beneath a predecessor's name to designate a change in title

• award = New award
• creation = New creation
• division = New division
• branch = New branch
• first = First
• loss = Loss of title
• minister = New ministerial post
• office = New office
• party = New political party
• regiment = New regiment

• squadron = New squadron
• #default = New title
