History
Early Life
Vikta was first born in USA. After exploring and finding out that Malaysia would be added to eRepublik on 11 February 2009, he decided to work towards buying a Moving ticket to move to Malaysia when it got added, as Vikta is from Malaysia in real life. A grand total of 11.50 US Dollars were used to purchase Moving tickets, which took Vikta many, many days to achieve.
Malaysia
Vikta arrived in Malaysia and proceeded to kiss the sweet soil of Peninsula Malaysia. It still tasted the same. Immediately, he joined the National Forums of Malaysia, and became one of the most active participants. He was particularly interested in recreating the local political scene, trying to gather funds to form Pakatan Rakyat, a real life political party he supports. Sadly, that plan did not materialise.
Vikta joined the Democratic Action Party, then quit a few days later after the 1st Malaysian Congressional Elections. During the 1st Malaysian Congressional Elections, he was very outspoken in condemning the actions of a foreign power (presumed to be Indonesia) in politically taking over Malaysia by sending over voting power to vote for its 'puppet candidates'.
The political Coup d'état was successful, and Vikta was among the few Malaysians carefully monitoring the national finances. Although he was not a Congress member, he floated many ideas with other and discussed the different ways of securing the funds before the funds could be restored. Sadly, this failed again. On 5 March 2009 and 6 March 2009, DjibriL and dark_firaichi both managed to get their motions to donate 1000 GOLD and 75009 MYR to Bank Negara eMalaysia, a puppet organisation. The money was never seen again.
1st Malaysian Presidential Elections
Vikta actively campaigned for the Coalition of Malaysia and its Presidential Candidate, Gustavius. During the elections, he monitored the results and published many articles calling for Malaysians to vote. Again, Vikta faced defeat when his endorsed candidate failed, coming in 2nd place.
Shortly after the election, the new President of Malaysia, dummy dahlan requested Vikta to join his cabinet. Vikta agreed. He is the 1st Malaysian Secretary of State and Minister of Media. He has actively worked with fischer, the Malaysian Minister of Defense in creating the Royal eMalaysian Armed Forces.
Political Career
Run for Congress
Vikta announced his intentions to run for Congress on 15th March 2009. He launched what is believed to be eRepublik's first service centre on 16th March 2009. He was elected and reelected again.
Cabinet
Vikta has served in many position in the cabinet, from Minister of Media to Minister of Finance. He was at one time the top finance manager of Malaysia, holding the Minister of Finance, Governorship of the Central Bank, and Director of the State Owned Companies positions all at once. He has since given up all his positions except for the Minister of Finance.
Presidency
Vikta was elected to the Presidency of Malaysia after a tightly contested election where his only opponent, Nagyzee, took an early lead of 12 votes. Vikta was prepared to concede the elections, but late returns somehow boosted him to a 20 vote lead to have a Dewey beats Truman moment. He eventually won by 10 votes.
