Latvijas Goda pilsonis (Latvian citizen in honor) was an award presented monthly by Latvijas Hronists to Latvian citizen who has done something great for his country in the previous month. The title was granted for life and could be awarded to each citizen only once. Every Latvian citizen is asked to suggest possible candidates. Then they are publicly announced to a special commission consisting of the country president, ministers, party presidents, strongest soldiers, the best businessman and the most popular newspaper editors.

The award consisted of a medal and a monetary award. The winning citizen of the month was awarded 1/12 (Icon - Gold.gif 10 GOLD) of the organization's yearly budget. The budget consisted of donations.
