It lasted for two months after it was ended by September 2009 after the creation of the birth of the Filipino Labor Party.
Another communist party was created by Comrade Joe in May 2010, the Philippine Communist Party from the Filipino Labor Party, the party that was the Communist Party - Philippines before. The party endorsed Comrade Joe for the June 2010 Presidential Elections, but lost. It was renamed weeks after.
