The Österreichische Volkspartei (ÖV) was a party in Austria. It supported the free market and seeks a reduction in taxes.
History
The party was founded by Ice80 on July 11th, 2009. The first election for party leader was 3 days later on the 15th, and saw three candidates challenge each other for the leadership position of the party: Trebor Etekef, Ambrose Didymus, and Ice80. Though Ambrose was the only candidate to use advertisements, Trebor ultimately was successful, winning with 60%, over Ambrose's 33% and Ice80's 6%.
