Voting System
Each member are allowed to nominate one player for each category. The most nominated player will be awarded with the honour that correspond with his nomination. In case of a tie, the most voted players goes on scrutiny again. If a tie persists the player with the highest level ranking win the nomination, excepting the player as won another nomination. In that case the nomination goes to the next player.
Order of the Portuguese Republic
It was established an honours system for the e-pt. It rewards notable ePT citizens for their efforts to promote or further the ePT in eRepublik.

Levels of the Order
Based on the Order of the Portuguese Republic, there are 5 levels of award, in order of seniority:
- Knight Grand Cross of the Portuguese Republic (GPR)
- Knight Commander of the Portuguese Republic (KPR)
- Commander of the Portuguese Republic (CPR)
- Officer of the Portuguese Republic (OPR)
- Member of the Portuguese Republic (MPR)
A recipient of any level of the Order of the Portuguese Republic is entitled to wear a Order of the Portuguese Republic ribbon. Civillians may wear the following:
Whilst Military servicemen and officers are entitled to wear the military ribbon:
Disinvestiture
If a citizen who has received an Honour acts in such a way that the Committee decides that the Honour should be stripped, any citizen of ePortugal can make a proposal to the Committee recommending that the citizen be stripped of the Honour.
Frequency
The Honours Committee will function on a monthly basis, with members making nominations throughout the month, and the highest sponsored nomination will be Honoured.
