The Great British Democratic Party strives for better democracy in the UK and supports new players in politics. They also believe in bringing an end to extreme party rivalries and instead have a more unified country working together to overcome its problems. The motto is "forgive and forget, move forward together".

History

Monarchy

The Great British Democratic Party was founded in October 2012 by Grand Emperor Ryan, however it was founded under the ideas of a monarchy.

The Start of Democracy

The monarchy ideals were soon put to an end when jny123 won the first full party president election in the party in November. This saw players such as novarefuge and Bob Bloggs join the party. jny123 also won the December elections of 2012 making him the final party president in that year. Congressman CheetahCurtis joined after the December 15th elections but left Congress after not running in the next election. Will Corbett moved to the Great British Democratic Party after being elected into Congress, making him the only Congressman in the Great British Democratic Party.

Party Presidents

The Great British Democratic Party has had several different Party Presidents. Grand Emperor Ryan was the first party president but jny123 took over to ensure the party became a democratically ruled party. jny123 has seen two terms consecutively in November and December of 2012.
