We will not work until we rest, we will not rest until we work - our party is built on the never-ending investment in the people of our party and citizens of our cities. Where this is plight, may we bring plenty. Where there is darkness, may we bring light. Where there is poor pay, may we bring 21% pay increases
(Elias Green)

History

The Lamp is Lighted

January 2012, the eUK was in crisis and two figures stood contemplating the future of the nation. Elias Green had wilfully left the UKPP after infighting and looked to the future, he believed parties were failing to stand up to the rights of the citizens - the ones who put the politicians in office. He set about a great plan to redevelop the political landscape in Britain with a party quick to adapt and get started by acquiring long dormant party with funding from financial backers. Thus a duo was formed, within hours the party had swelled to include the seeds for growth thanks to two leading figures in the aforementioned Green, Lewis Holand and sympathetic backer Daniel Quayle. From here, the party set its course to strive for the ordinary people and build a party structure centering on the safety net approach where a man can rise to his dreams but be captured in he falls in the safety net of society.

The Triumvirate

As soon as the party was formed, a triumvirate developed, a triangle of vision between Green, Holand and Quayle. One would focus on development, PR and structure, one would focus on laymen and the individual members and one would focus on the financial side. The result was the creation of a system for party loans, a newspaper and whole new ideas for the country presidency. The Triumvirate would work hard for the growth of the party with their combined interests. Holand had been a member since the early days when the party was officially the Peej Appreciation Society whilst Green had always desired a new way of politics.Quayle meanwhile had been drafted in to make the political party run smoothly.

Country Presidency

NUM's first candidate for Country Presidency was a difficult decision that the members were apprehensive towards at first. The result was a candidate that everyone knew could do the job. A man with the drive and great ambition as well as political ideals to create the great new 'Welfare State' Green and Quayle had devised since their early days in the game - that man was to be iGuy.
