Biography
At the dawn of a new year, Rooielente was born in Flanders, Belgium. Spending her first hard-earned gold on the improvement of her own personal military training grounds, it soon became clear she was destined for the military. Under the command of her Regiment Captain Beaverjuice, she quickly grew as a soldier to a commanding officer herself. She's a ground trooper and a commando, who goes in when the going gets rough and hands need to be dirtied. She clears the path and cleans up afterwards.
Media
One of the things Rooielente is maybe best known for, is her newspaper 'The Red Flare'. In here, she brings the literary tales of her battle exploits and adventures, bringing the many wars and battles of eRepublik to live. She's also an active member of the Belgian Forum Community, where she is often engaged in an endless Tug-o-War with Tvvince.
Politics
In an in-party vote, she came up high in the rankings for Congress, despite her young age. She soon made International Affairs her domain of expertise and was even appointed Ambassador for Belgium to Canada. She brings a pragmatic soldiering viewpoint to the political and diplomatic table, combined with a certain humorous charm that allows her to get away with things. Amongst all, her co-workers at the Embassy would tell you, she is very fond of proper manners.
Military
Rooielente is a Commanding Officer in the First regiment of The Belgian Training Academy. Her fellow soldiers fondly call her 'Camouflage', a nickname that indicates her role as Commando amongst the ranks of the BTA. Together with the MU's Second-in-Command Yannis de Leeuw, she is the living proof women in uniform are not just cute things in a battledress.
