Vlastenci (Czech: Vlastenci, English: Patriots) is a libertarian political party in the Czech Republic.
It's a party for all Czech patriots - for native Czechs as well as Czechs at hearth, simply for all those who feel to be Czech (and Moravian) and are proud of it.
It's ideology comes from a strong tradition of Czech thinking - its democratic, state-building and progressive nature, shown greatly by T. G. Masaryk. These ideas have in Czech history (both RL and eRep) gone through periods of bloom and prosperity as well as of tragic oppression. It nevertheless survived and Vlastenci want to represent these ideas.
Vlastenci are here simply for those who want to be proud of their Czech homeland and want to make a strong, united and prosperous country out of their republic.

History
Vlastenci was founded on August 12th 2015 by fwdre (president of Narodni Garda) and Qw1n (president of Svobodne Cesko). Ať žijí Vlastenci! - published by fwdre on day 2,822
During 2015, mainly after the self-coup by Czech government and the following dictatorship, the general activity and population of Czech Republic was gradually declining. Old players were stopping playing, newborn players were scarce and only a few new foreign players were coming to Czech Republic via citizenship passes. In and effort to revive the community and counter this decline, a discussion between members of Narodni Garda and Svobodne Cesko started.
On August 12th 2015, after a long discussion, the two parties decided to merge into a new party. Svobodne Cesko was dissolved and Narodni Garda tranformed into a new party - Vlastenci.
