Gali. is a hairy Viking who currently resides in London. Gali. was previously known as Gali2332.
Career
Gali was born on the 19th of June 2013, but did not really start playing eRepublik until September 2014, publishing the first of many editions of Norse News, his newspaper, on the 17th of September.
In something of a surprise placement, Gali, along with another new player, x Tank Girl x, was placed very highly on the UKRP congress list of September 2014. At a time when fielding an excellent congress list was still crucial in determining the success of a party, the decision was faced with apprehension from UKRPers, with then PP, Neil Lewis, defending his decision as thus: "Giving the babies a go; they'll be supported by at least 4 experienced congress members". Gali turned out to be, if not a player of great ability, one of unique enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
In these early days, Gali was extremely active on eRepublik, posting almost daily articles -- generally about politics -- and was heavily involved in Congress.
In October 2014 he became a deputy Minister of Defence with the intention of moving into a more senior role -- something he never actually did.
Gali, in what became something of a running joke, consistently made unsuccessful party presidential campaigns between late 2014 and early 2015. This included a narrow defeat in the controversial November 2014 election to Adrastos. Adrastos used the votes of Dental Corps members to win the election, bringing the party vote count to double what it usually was. Nonetheless, Gali finally became PP in May 2015. From then on, he variously took long term roles working in the NHS and Ministry of Home Affairs whilst remaining in Congress. During this time he undertook Home Affairs projects including the well-known 'Viking Island' series and a pioneering national PM system. Gali was elected Party President again in February 2016, but gradually became less involved in eRepublik, before going inactive in early 2017.
From 2018 onwards, Gali, like most eUKers, would occasionally return to the game, going on to become a 23-time Parliament member.
In an acclaimed comeback in October 2021, Gali ran once more for UKRP president but, in keeping with his previous record, was defeated on experience levels after drawing with the incumbent Certacito.
He is the honorary permanent president of CU(NT)S.
Personal Life
Gali was in one of the last generations of new eUKers, coming into the game in 2014, and became closest with players of a similar age in AMD, Hail Astrid and Frixios, who formed a part of a wider social group that included players like Roachford, FightandProduce, Sambo, Fataliix, and Pannonian Nomad.

Military
Early in his military career, Gali was captain of HMS Abrantes (Regiment 1) in the Royal Navy, before moving to Nifty.. He is now the commander of the elite Spamican Guard.
