It was said that Indonesia-Australia War started because of "insulting letter" sent to Indonesian president by president of Australia Neo26988. Judge it for yourselves.
Following is a copy of the actual letter. It was published by Indonesian citizen serenity16 in the newspaper comments section of an article named Personal response from someone with experience.
Dear Indonesian President,
I am Neo26988, President of Australia. I am unsure if you speak English, so if you don't, please pass this on to someone who can. As closest neighbor to our country, we are greatly interested in creating a mutual protection pact with you. We are a peaceful nation with no enemies, and we do not wish to fight unless our country along with all the other peaceful nations of the world are threatened.
If possible, I would like to know what enemies if any you have. If you are interested in entering in to this pact, please let me know ASAP and I will submit the request.
