North East of England is a region in Argentina and its capital is Newcastle upon Tyne. Its original owner is United Kingdom. It covers Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne and Wear, and Teesside (including parts of North Yorkshire). The only cities in the region are Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland.
