Elected to the Party Presidency of the Kadima in July 2009, Romanov reorganised the party. He renamed it to Israeli Kosher Party. The Israeli Kosher Party or "IKP (founded August 2009)," was a short-lived a center-left political party in Israel. It had 33 members, and 6/38 seats in congress of Israel.
