Baja is a region in Mexico and its capital is Mexicali.
History
Baja was seized by the US during its invasion of Mexico in March 2009. As Portuguese and Mexican forces began to repel the American invaders, a peace deal was signed between the Mexican and American parties. Part of the treaty included temporarily ceding Baja to the US for war games. Wargames began in April 2009, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by initiating resistance wars, so that US citizens may fight for six days out of seven. In late April 2009, the wargames were concluded and Baja was ceded back to Mexico as a part of the aforementioned treaty.
