On 15th of January he decided to leave Partidul Liberal, after six months of staying due to the internal conflicts between him and the other members. Five days later he joined eUniunea Gamerilor Democrati. On 26th of January he was elected for the second time in the Romanian Congress, this time in Northern Russia.
