Teknokratprisene (EN: The Technocrat Awards) was a shortlived project run by the administration in the political party Teknokratene. It's purpose was to give something back to the active members of the party that did so much to promote it within the game, and made it an enjoyable experience for them all.
Initially it was planned to have these awards twice a year, but due to the low activity and low amount of active players, the party agreed that they may just as well have only one ceremony a year. They settled on having the awards January each year.

For the first and so far only award ceremony, there were only three categories, Newcomer of the Year, Technocrat of the Year, and Honorary Mention. The voting process was open to anyone that had registered on the Teknokrat websites, which lead to some abuse from the rivalling party, Binary Party, which rallied votes for the only candidate that didn't take part in a massive feud between TeK and BP at the time, Terje Hansen.
The candidates for the different categories were suggested from the members of the party. There were multiple prizes that were handed out, though all of them were in the simple form of a mention in an article[1], and a rather simple image of a trophy made by Eris Caelestis.
