In Sweden there are 23 registered political parties, but only seven are active. Only the five largest parties participate in the General Election for congress (in Sweden they call it Riksdag) seats.

The five largest parties fellow congressmen, have access to the Riksdag. The Riksdag consists of the congressmen from Flashback Sweden, Militantsocialistiska Arbetarepartiet, Polish Secessionist Front, Democrats of New Sweden , Purjolök Ops and the Commander in Chief. These parties can vote on issues chosen by the president.

From this parties, the president then chooses persons who he or she wants to have a place in the Government (Regeringen). The Government consists of the Ministers, the party leaders and their fellow congressmen from Flashback Sweden, Militantsocialistiska Arbetarepartiet, Libertarian Gathering Sweden and the congressmen from Democrats of the New Sweden. The party leader of Democrats of the New Sweden and the members of Purjolök Ops have not gained access to the government by the President and the other Governmental parties.

Since the First of August 2008 DNS and Libertarian Gathering Sweden will be the same party. Its a party fusion.
