In 2024, the Congressional elections take place on the 25th day of each month and the Congress is inaugurated two days later, on the 27th of each month. Citizens vote for national party lists instead of individual candidates.
As Malaysia only has two parties in the country, the battle was between them to see which one will win most Congress seats.
