Exphobia took a part in the Bulgarian Government in March 2016 as a Minister of Defense.

Appointed Councillor of NAPRED, a Cross-Party Alliance for Prosperity, Development, Unity and Trust in Bulgaria.

Exphobia was a member of Bulgarian party ZAICHE. In ZAICHE Exphobia served 3 terms as Party president (elected November 2012, March 2013, July 2013).
