Draconism is the faith of the Black Dragons. It is a combination of atheistic philosophy, monotheistic religion, and polytheistic paganism. What it is is usually based upon the eye of the beholder, but it is regarded as having elements of all three. In turn, this page will cover the principles that are sure throughout the faith.

History

Draconism, and its incarnations throughout history have been around a long time. They were finally found together as a the pantheon we know in a desolate land of undead nightmares known as "Fairview". They were first discovered by VoraX, the Archlord of the Black Dragons. He was a philosopher-warrior that forged an empire on an instinct not to survive as human, but to survive as an Übermensch. He knew of the will of the Draconis, and acted to avoid destruction. Especially in such a hostile place, only the strongest will survive, collectively. So he gathered a band known as the Black Dragons, to be the strongest individually. After many years, a man called Lukas Kelly brought the faith and philosophy to the New World, a much nicer place than Fairview. He was was born in Switzerland, and from there, began to slowly establish the creed.

The Great Spirits

The great spirits are the pantheon of Draconism. What they are exactly is, again, unsure. Some say they are all gods, others say they are just aspects of the Draconis, and others claim they are ancient entities that have always been here.

The Draconis

The Draconis is the primary spirit of Draconism, and it stands for many things, and her symbol is the Ouroboros. One of the most important of it is the Will of the Draconis. A symbolic concept of our lack of control of our fates. But in knowing the will of the Draconis, that only the strongest will survive, you can control some of the factors. The other major concept is The Strength of the Draconis. The Strength, is a form of mental and psychological perseverance to be called upon.

The Fenrir

The Fenrir is one of the other major spirits and the second most ancient. Its symbol a wolf. The Fenrir is the embodiment of primal rage and prowess, and unlike the Draconis, has been known by man for longest(With the Draconis being known shortly afterwards). The worshipers of Fenrir, The Fenrir's Fangs, are known by their motto "For the Glory". The prime aspect of the Fenrir is the Rage of the Fenrir, a savage spirit of violence and reckless abandon.

Le Harceleur Sombre

Le Harceleur Sombre is one of the major spirits, symbolized by an eye. Le Harceleur is the watcher of those who go bump in the night. The assassins, spies, and general intruders. Its name is French for "The Dark Stalker". It's two aspects are la Ruse du Harceleur and l'Ombre du Harceleur(The Cunning and Shadow of the Stalker, respectively).

Lesser Spirits

These are the spirits, deities, or concepts that have not yet attained the same status as the Great Spirits, but it can change, as the classification is from a human standpoint.

Vi

Vi, is a spirits, whose meaning can be defined only by a combination of several English words at once. An inner motion, change, chaos, a violence, a movement, or a revolutionary spirit. Vi's influence is almost a call to action, to create change.

Conepts

Draconism is not as much defined by its spirits, as it is by its principles. The first main principles, is that only the strongest can survive. This is not only defined by the will of the Draconis, but also by our success in Fairview. But, if only the strongest will survive, how do we survive? Become the strongest, and strive to become Übermensch. But if anyone could do it, than how do we separate ourselves from the pack and be the strongest? That's the thing. In Technicality, everyone can do it, but not in reality. There's also a concept, the will to power, a mixture between the influences of Vi, the Rage of the Fenrir, and Le Ruse du Harceleur. It's the inner force that we have to find, that drives us to strive for more and more, until we reach the limitless tops and soar to a status above man.

Holy Books

As we speak, there are several books which are not considered "Scripture", but are books that are very integral to our religion. They can be found here.
