History
The Democratic Action Party, was founded sometime between March and April 2009. It was unclear why the party was originally made however it appears that it was founded by a Pakistani Dioist. At that time there were only two members in the party. Eventually, sometime in April 2009, a group of players arrived in eMalaysia and took the party as their own. Howeverb it was never a djozikeist party under their lead. Ejjnye was the first elected party president of the DAP. He won by an astounding 2 votes, he had no competition. crvnazvezda took over as Party president once Ejjnye stepped down.
Limited Summary
Democratic Action Party (DAP) was at one point one of the largest parties in Malaysia. In recent times however, DAP has taken a back seat to the Federal Unity Party who now greatly outnumbers DAP not only in membership but in congress seats as well. The DAP believes in a free market system, although they do help run some government owned companies. Similar to most of the parties in Malaysia, DAP is rather unorganized. While it is true that DAP has its own organization, DAP Fund, DAP still has many organization problems. These issues are something that the new party president intends to try to fix. The DAP's current party president is Carr De Vaux.
Possible Name Change
As some real life Malaysians have pointed out the DAP is an unpopular real world party in Malaysia. For this reason there has been a debate that has gone on and off of a name change. Only now does it seem that this name change will actually happen. DAP members are presently voting on a new name for the party. The following names are being considered. As well as their current amount of votes. The name has finally been changed to the Democratic People's Party, the DPP. At the time of its change, it had over 100 members.
